These are bags of 1 lb 6 oz pinto beans from Ness Farms in Estancia, NM. They are new crop from September-October 2024 season, and go great in a bowl of chile and beans! This size is not a lot for a big event, but is a nice size to try Estancia, New Mexico pinto beans, and plenty of beans to make a side dish in a few different family meals. Pinto beans are often cooked with chicos, a local roasted corn very popular here, particularly in Northern New Mexico! I recommending putting chicos at about a 1:4 or 1:5 ratio with pinto beans, though some people prefer more or less.
